Salary: $3445.69 – $4307.13 Monthly. Commensurate with experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinates and supervises the staff and daily operation of an assigned court system process or program. Researches and interprets relevant provisions of the Texas Government Code, Texas Family Code, Texas Civil Practices and Remedies Code, Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Texas Penal Code, and Texas Rules of Civil and Appellate Procedure. Oversees compliance with applicable State and Federal laws and guidelines, and departmental policies and procedures. Evaluates and participates in the development of policies, programs and procedures and makes recommendations to facilitate efficiency and effectiveness. Plans, assigns, motivates, and coordinates work of staff to achieve specific service objectives. Manages time, performs multiple tasks and organizes diverse activities. Independently prepares correspondence, memorandums, and other materials. Researches, compiles, analyzes, interprets and prepares a variety of fiscal, statistical and administrative reports. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with departmental clientele, representatives of outside agencies, other County employees and officials, attorneys, judges and the general public.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in one of the Social or Behavioral Sciences, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Counseling,Education, Criminal Justice or a directly related field AND four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in social services, community corrections or juvenile agency, including one (1) year of lead, mid- to senior level supervisory or management experience;

Any combination of education and experience that has been achieved and is equivalent to the stated education and experience and required knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this job.
Licenses, Registrations, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
None required.
Preferred: *Bilingual in English/Spanish *Three (3) years experience in litigation involving family or domestic relations law.
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Work site: 1000 Guadalupe Street
