Salary: $15.17 – $18.58 Hourly. Commensurate with experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
Works in a clinical setting with the Employee Wellness & Health Clinic physicians and staff. Under supervision of nursing leadership, supports provider practice by assisting with direct patient care duties. Performs diagnostic testing, maintaining supply inventory levels, clean and maintain medical equipment. Performs data entry for new patients, referrals, scanning and eMDs projects. Answers incoming phone calls, schedules appointments and handles requests for records. Follows direction given by clinic physicians, nursing team leader and supervisor.

Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or G.E.D. AND three (3) to five (5) years of office medical experience in a clinical setting as a Medical Assistant supporting clinic office activities;
OR,
Any combination of education and experience that has been achieved and is equivalent to the stated education and experience and required knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this job.

Licenses, Registrations, Certifications, or Special Requirements: *Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assisting Program and/or a Certified Medical Assistant.

Preferred: Bilingual in English/Spanish

A,B& C: (PRN) Full-time Temporary positions

Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM on an as needed basis

Work site: Multiple sites as needed
