Director of Engineering-Communication Security Products

Provide Engineering leadership in support of the Communications Security
Products (CSP) business.
Responsible for the successful engineering development, talent acquisition,
retention and development of a team of approximately 40 engineers in a
dynamic labor market, in a location remote from the division headquarters.
Builds strong working relationships with external customers (including NSA)
and internal customers to advance CSP technology and support the growth of
the CSP business. Manages IRAD projects, program developments, budgeting,
staff planning and intellectual property protection.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical, Software or Computer
Engineering required. Master's degree in Engineering, Product Development,
or Business Management preferred.
10 years of CSP or related Engineering experience, plus 4 years of
engineering or program management leadership required.
Experience:
Strong leadership and management skills with demonstrated track record of
building and developing technical talent.
Strong verbal communications skills and the ability to champion change and
enhance employee engagement are required as engineering leader in this
location.
Position requires broad knowledge of communications technologies, products
and customers and strong working knowledge of CSP engineering.
Requires prior success in working relationships with external customers (NSA
preferred).
Candidate should have a successful track record of executing projects to
meet internal and external expectations and in developing program pursuit
proposals.
Candidate should also have strong business acumen, excellent judgment, good
strategic and tactical leadership skills, and a high initiative/bias for
action.
Candidate must be able to balance technical needs with business objectives.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and hold an active US Top Secret clearance.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation
and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
