Principal Structural Engineer

Lead the engineering design and analysis effort for projects to determine viable, creative, efficient engineering solutions based upon sound engineering theory. Proposed solutions should demonstrate dedication to client satisfaction, engineering excellence, and the delivery of successful project results.
Prepare reports, technical and fee proposals, and correspondence of superior quality and suitable for distribution to external parties without review. Business Development.
Key areas of responsibility
Actively participate in the training and development of more junior technical staff to ensure that all employees are afforded the opportunity to learn and increase their contribution to the success of the firm’s projects.
Key requirements
Capable of detailed design and structural analysis. California PE.
Minimum qualifications
Needs to work well in a team environment, but with little minute-to-minute direction. Willing to be challenged and ambitious to develop as a hands-on project manager who engages in design efforts.
