Role purpose
Current on-going work and potential work including NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic work .
Essence of role – key accountabilities
Work on a team of process and piping engineers for design of petrochemical, natural gas and LNG systems for port terminals.
Job requirements
Technical / professional expertise
• System criteria development
• System concept development
• System sizing
• PFD/P&ID development
• Piping material selection
• Stress calculations
• Specification writing for systems and equipment
• Oversee piping layout and drawing review
• Field inspections
• Report writing
• Work well on a team
• Good verbal and communication skills
• AutoCAD training
• Knowledge of ANSI, ASME and API codes
• Familiarity with instrumentation systems
• Petrochemical a plus
• P E License a plus
Essential: BSME
Desirable: Engineering experience in marine environments
• Minimum 10 years experience
• Bachelors Degree in engineering
• Knowledge of process equipment (tanks, pumps etc.)
